Anshar's Nuclear Program

SNRI is the focal point of Anshar's nuclear energy research and development and next-generation repository science. SNRI manages projects funded by Anshar's Atomic Energy Authority (AAEA) and Anshar's commercial nuclear industry. Meeting the current and future energy demands while minimizing the climatic impacts of greenhouse gases demands research and analysis to advance Anshar's nuclear mission.

SNRI partners extensively with other institutes, universities, industry, and the international nuclear community to address real-world technical challenges. To achieve SNRI's mission and better serve our sponsors, the SNRI Nuclear Program maintains the following four offices:

  • Advanced Nuclear Energy Programs
  • Nuclear Fuel Fabrication
  • Nuclear Fuel Disposition
  • Safety & Security

  • The Republic of Anshar is a signatory to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and has an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is modeled under the IAEA Information Circular (INFCIRC)/153 corrected. Anshar has not yet completed an Additional Protocol agreement with the IAEA (INFCIRC/540). The main function of the SNRI is nuclear reactor research and fuel fabrication. The SNRI fabricates the fuel on site for this reactor and for other facilities.

The facility stores more than 500kg of special nuclear material at any given time.
